PHOETRY

Phoetry was an effort to combine poetry with visual art, mainly photography and typography, hence the title. Most of the poems deal with big city life, at the seam of an alternative. The photos are autobiographical, depicting places been and people seen. The typography is part of a font fettish I have, I find the art of lettering inspiring.

WORD FELON

This was the first book that I self-published, with poems from 1992 to 1996. I typed it all up on this klinky 1930's Austrian typewriter that my grandmother gave me. The poems are raw to the teeth.

"...Moon's poems are authentic photographs of written experience as a kind of sustained ecstatic fictional, (auto)biographical experience. Moon sort of milks an orgasm in his best poems, and leaves the technique floundering for a philosophy. His work contains none of the moral/linguistic imperatives of Bernstein, nor the violent ejaculations of Borroughs, and in it's own right becomes a poem distinctly his own."
